Michel Weyland (born 19 August 1947, in Brussels) is a Belgian artist, writer and cartoonist. ==Biography== *He earned his humanities arts at the Institut Saint-Luc in Brussels. *In 1969, during his final year of study, he published in the Journal de Tintin comic series stylized sci-fi: Stereo-land. *From 1969 to 1979, he worked as a retoucher in a large photogravure Brussels. *In 1974, he made a few cartoons for the weekly Belgian Why Not?. *In August 1979, he created the character of Aria and draft his first adventure. *In September 1979, he left for photoengraving devote himself exclusively to comics.
